ok so now i am just getting frustrated i have tried freezing the bushings still a no go they wont go in they are still to big for the opening. what would yall recommend for filing down the corners of the opening that is where the bushings are catching

I would say that you could safely chamfer the edge of the opening in the beam.

forgive my ignorance what is chamfer mean?

Easy! I learned that in drafting and again in carpentry :P! Basically you are mitering something or giving it a radius if you are "rounding" it rather than "chamfering" it. Let's say that you have an entertainment center and on the farthest part of the front face on either side you want to cut a 45 degree angle eliminating the edge and depending on how you look at it producing two. Here's a picture since I'm not too good at explaining things:

thanks guys i really do appreciate all the help i just feel like im :hw: :hw: :hw: :hw: :hw: . ireally wish i could get these things in i need to get my chassis back to a rolling chassis so that i can start my body work on my cab and need to get the chassis out of the garage

$5.00 says you have F350 bushings. They are bigger in diameter than the F100-F250 bushings. What brand and part # are they?

The only reason I say that, is because countless times I have gotten F350 only chassis parts when going to the parts stores, most specifically any one other than Napa. Sometimes it's obvious, other times it's not.

this is the second set i have gotten from a different parts store. the brand is OE part number is s-12234

so i guess i just need to find the closest napa and go and get some of there bushing then shouldnt i
