air bagged front

I did a search, but didnt come up with anything I was looking for. What I was wondering was if anyone has done bags on an I beam. Pretty much for maintaining proper ride height with a heavy engine up front. I saw on killbillet there was a guy with airbags up front(on a Bump) and he didnt like em. I tried to register so I could ask him why, but they arent letting me on. Any considerations of sizing? Looked on one of the bag sites, and they were about $80 per bag. I figure, a 6" bag with 1/2" line, and a 2 gal air tank after the valve would ride pretty decent. Anny comments? suggestions?

Are you replacing the springs with bags or are you keeping the springs and putting a bag inside the spring?

Replacing the spring all together. I dont trust those bags that go inside the stock spring, they seem like they would get dirt ground into em and the spring would rub a hole in it.

You may have to build your own mounts, theres no love for our trucks so we have to fab everything for them.
I would stick with 1/4 inch line if you don't plan on playing with the switches to much. 1/4 line is easyer to wroute and has a thicker wall.
