1 ton front end on my '71 f250

Post by 1971ford »

I have the 1 ton 1" kingpin mega huge front I-beam setup on the restored '69 chassis in my side yard. I am taking it off tomorrow and I'm going to bend it/plate it to fix camber for the race truck (bent the 3/4 ton beams).
I'll use the steering linkage, radius arms, and the i-beams.

One problem i see right now, is lug size. The lugs on the 1 ton discs are MASSIVE. I had to buy 4 lug nuts (2 for each wheel to roll it around) and they don't even fit in my aluminum rims. What are my options here? I need the 1 ton beams but i also need the smaller 3/4 ton lugs.
Ideas??

I'd like to stick with stock parts. I can't just swap discs over can I? And i can't punch out the lugs and put smaller ones in?
