How difficult is it to replace the bearing in a steering colomn :? And are the bearing press in type :?

its not a pressed in one. just take the column out of the truck remove the wheel remove the center shaft and replace both bearigns. top and bottom. for the top bearign you have to take the tss half way out of the column.

here is a page on the 3 spd column disassembly. if you ignore all the internals all the other columns are the same as for the bearign top and bottom. depending on the year of column that is actually in the truck. http://www.fordification.com/tech/3spd-column_01.htm
