Proportioning Valve
Will a drum/drum set up proportioning valve work on a disk/drum set? Or do I definitely need to use the disk/drum prop valve?

Re: Proportioning Valve
the drum drum brake pressure block and swithc isnt the same a s a disc drum proportioning valve. so no. you have to use the disc drum proportioning valve. it is to limit the pressure to the rear brakes since the discs use so much more. or the other way around. i get that part mixed up.

What about all the brake lines, will the current ones hook up? Other than maybe the rubber ones to the caliper.

i don't know about the sizes of the nuts they may or may no tbe different. as far as positioning you will have to move /bend them aroudn to fit exactly on the new valve from where they sat on the old differential switch block. they may even (probably) will be too long

Re: Proportioning Valve
You will probably need to make new steel lines for the front, at least. The brackets on the frame that the hoses from the calipers clip to are different than the drum brake ones. You need to get them from the donor truck.
I made a bracket and mounted the proportioning valve in the same spot as the drum brake block so I didn't have to change anything going to the back. I had to bend new steel lines for the front.
