
Brake lines

Brake lines
Does anyone know way they wind the brake line up in a circle up by the master cyclinder,and does this need to be done when replacing your brake lines

im not shure why they do it, or if it needs to be done, when i redid my brake lines, i didnt do it, but my brakes work fine,

It is done so that the lines can flex when the body is moving on the body/frame insulators. You can use anything round, like a section of pvc pipe for a template.

Should the brake lines have a single or double flare, I have single at the master cyclinder and I'm thing it should be a double flare.

i used a tubing bender to bend mine when i replaced them. it doesnt look very good but the loops are in it.
