The plastic arms on my turn signal switch assembly have broken off, so the signals have to be turned off manually. (See pic with broken arms and cancel cam that sits on steering wheel shaft.)
Is there any option to replace just this plastic piece, and not the whole assembly with wires? I see the part on both Dennis Carpenter and NPD for about $60.
If I do have to replace the whole assembly, any words of advice or gotchas?
Thanks.

I've replaced the whole unit. Be sure to photograph or draw out a pin location for the connector as you have to remove the wires and re use the plastic housing.
Use a piece of twine or saftey wire to tie to the wires so that when you pull the wires through you can use the wire or twine to pull the new wires back through.
You may try looking in the "Help" sectopn of the local chain (AutoZone, Advance, OReilly, etc) as they sometimes have just the plastic canceling cam for a few bucks.

Hello neighbor. You sure can get just the cancelling cam. I see them on ebay all the time, or you can order one from LMC for $10.mike_68 wrote:The plastic arms on my turn signal switch assembly have broken off, so the signals have to be turned off manually. If you do change the whole unit my tip is to duct tape a fish wire to the wires you pull through the column so you can attach the new wires to it and pull them back through.

Here's a pic of what you'll need to pick up in the Help section of your local parts store, as DuckRyder suggests:
