Messed up Rear Brakes

my mom hung me up there because i wanted to hang from the sign. i think my brother also hung from the line there and got his picture taken too. i was really young back then. i woudl guess between 1969 and 1972 sometime.

Alright I got a new backing plate and some other parts I needed. But the hole on the new backing plate is bigger than the old one. The new one measures 3 1/8" and the old broken one measures 2 7/8". Will this be a problem?

the center hole? as long as the bolt holes line up and there isnt a gap so dirt can get in. it should be ok. you might be able to silicone the air gap shut if you have to. thats all i can think of.

I bolted it on yesterday and there was no problem, almost finished the rear brakes. Then I have to do the fronts

Brakes are all done just have to pack the wheel bearings and slap on the tires. This website was the only site I could find the brake diagram on, and not to mention all the helpful info! FORDIFICATION RULES
