I know my 70 didn't.
I've been professionally working on cars, trucks, heavy equipment, etc. for the last 43 years (give or take a month or two...LOL), and to the best of my knowledge, I've never seen one with manual brakes (on ANY vehicle) that had an adjustable push rod.
On vehicles with power brakes, there is nearly ALWAYS an adjustment, either on the pedal side of the booster or the M/C side of the booster (dependent upon vehicle).

Why is it that there's seldom time to fix it right the first time, but there's always time to fix it right the second time???

Here's some shotz of bleeding the MC. I took them today as I did mine.
click on pics to enlarge... you can click on the first one and see all of them.
MC removed

Bending the new brake line to replace the broken one.

Bleeding the MC Nylon fittings installed

Installing vinyl bleeder lines

Bench bleeding the MC (Slowly push the plunger in repeatedly until the bubbles stop forming, make sure that the reservior doesn't run low.)

MC installed

Ready to adjust and bleed the brakes. I could use the single person method, but I prefer the buddy system... it just seems to work better.

Re: Brakes won't bleed!!!
Alright....
I will finally have some free time to get out to the garage and work on the truck again. Its been about a month since I've touched it. Been too busy working on the new (to me) house.
Ok...been pondering a little bit on why I can't get a peddle. I had to replace the left front brake hose and wheel cylinder because when the PO towed the truck, somehow the tow strap got wound around the hose as it enters the wheel cylinder causing the hose to be ripped off the cylinder. So...wouldnt this "leak" trip the combo valve on the frame? Wouldn't this explain the reason why im getting very little flow out of the front bleeders?
Sometimes stepping away from a project clears the head a little....

Re: Brakes won't bleed!!!
it has to be a clog in the line . the pressure differential switch wouldnt keep fluid from reaching the brakes. it only moves when the fluid pressure is lower on front or back. you could try removign the main line going from that valve to the front brakes and stepping on the brakes. if you get fluid then that part is clear if not you would want to work back towards the master cylinder checking for line clogs or no fluid at each connection. if you do have fluid work forward towards the wheels to see where the clog or blockage is at. opening a new line everytime. it sounds like the main line or the master cylinder isnt lettign fluid into the front lines.
