67' Power Steering Parts

67' Power Steering Parts
I have an old Bendix box I bought years ago and would like to hook it up. Does anyone sell new power steering pumps, brackets, and hoses that will work? What about rebuild kits for the bendix? Have any of you ever rebuilt one, or know anyone who does? Thanks

you can buy everything new except the brackets for the pump. try the links page or your local parts store.

Are the brackets and pumps the same for both kinds of power steering setups (Bendix and Saginaw)?

The brackets AND PULLEYS (!) are specific to the ENGINE! Not to the steering gear.
Get a Pump AND PULLEY and bracket SET from the engine you have. FE, 302, Six, etc.
Notice I did not suggest trying to piece together a set (pump, pulleys, brackets) from a parts pile. There are MANY,MANY variations based on year and with or w/o A/C that unless you are a Ford expert everything will not fit together.
You can go to a yard and pull EVERYTHING off of a passenger car with your same engine. As long as the pump is of the era (70ish) it wil work. Later (1980s+) pumps wil work too but then you get into issues realted to groved and serpentine belts. How simple a job are you looking for?

But a 352, 360, and 390 FE should all be the same, correct?

there would be three or maybe four tpyes of bendix brackets. that i can think of for the fe engine block. they would all fit and fe.
up to 70 with a/c
up to 70 without a/c
70 and up with a/c
70 and up without a/c
up to 70 with a/c
up to 70 without a/c
70 and up with a/c

Yes Any FE will work as long as you keep everything as a set.
The pump is mounted a little further forward (or backward) to give space to belts for other accessories. Belt routing is not always identical when adding P/S.
Example: on a manual steering engine one belt may be all that is needed to drive the fan and alternator. Add P/S and now one belt drives just the alternator and the other belt now drives the fan and P/S pump. When A/C is added then sometimes two belts are used to drive the alternator with one belt operating the fan & P/S pump and another separate belt for the A/C compressor. It all depends on how they were routing the belts that paticular year.
This is why it is easier to pull everything off of one engine (FE in your case - remember car or truck will work) so you know how the belts are routed and that everything is spaced correctly.
Some other thoughts - If you take the brackets and pulleys from a A/C (FE) motor now then you will have the space/spacers and pulleys to add A/C later if you choose. You wont have to search another pulley system to drive the compressor. If you dont have or want A/C then it wont matter.
Something else you will want to acquire if you do not already have one is a P/S cooler. (Especially with a bendix box you want to take care of it)

Hey all, this is kind-of related to the original direction...
I am doing the 75-79 4wd Integral power steering box swap into my 67 F-100 4wd and would like to use a power steering pump from a 67 T-Bird that had a 390; will this flow enough to power a different year steering gear?
If not, can the old pump be "massaged" to make it work?
This is a Rest-Mod project, so I want to have the old pump to keep the old look and the more modern box to make it simple and less hassle than having rams and crap like that. I also plan on running a P/S cooler so I have less to worry about while off roading.
