Re: favorite picture of your truck or trucks
i finally got the driveshaft in and after fiddling with the exhaust, the driveshaft sits an inch and a half away from the muffler and about an inch from the frame. i can't pull it far enough to hit either when everything is tightened so i don't think it will be a problem.1971ford wrote:got any other pics of that exhaust setup?
Like the driveshaft to muffler clearance? I have my exhaust setup very similiar but one of my mufflers is about .75in. away from hitting hte driveshaft and has hit the driveshaft when the collectors get loose

I think my rear shafts, sliding deal is slightly cockeyed it seems to hit the exhuast at fast take offs. but it only just rasps against it.

Re: favorite picture of your truck or trucks
I was scanning old slides and came across this one of my grandfather (on the right) next to his truck from his construction days. This was dated 1958. He told me that truck was one of the best they had, of course I wish it was still around. We go through old job site slides every holiday but I finally decided to scan them before they got too faded and try to capture his stories while he can still tell them.

Re: favorite picture of your truck or trucks
This is probably my most favorite picture. I had this picture of my dad and me and the trucks taken up at Stevens Creek Dam next to the picnic area. I wish we would have gotten my sisters 68 F250 in this.

Why is it that the trucks are always the best running vehicles in the family?

Hey Troy that photo is truly excellent! What year is it from? Your trucks look like a near match. If I ever saw two Bumpside trucks side by side at the reservoir I'd stare like I'd seen a UFO!

Re: favorite picture of your truck or trucks
Thanks guys. I think we took the picture around 1999. The trucks are very similiar. We surprised my dad with a shirt for Fathers Day with the picture on it. Stevens Creek Dam is in Cupertino, California. The dam is not real big.

Re: favorite picture of your truck or trucks
must be as small as the one near Alma, when i heard what happened with them flooding the town to make a reservior i was pissed at the forced relocation they did, then i found out about the relocation of the people that lived where 85 and 87 and the light rail went in. I was just as ticked about that, guess the Idea of Freedom is inborn so much that hearing of government walking all over it to get what they want pisses me off
As i have been told they played the imenent domain thing but made it worse by offering a take way less than it's worth or we'll condemn it and make you move anyways.
