This is my first actual post besides welcome mat. I have a 68 F-100 with the 240 auto.I just purchased this truck so I am not sure of the correctness of it. My question is I pulled the Arms,Spindles,I-Beams,Steering box,P Valve, Pump etc for the conversion from a 79 F-150 (disk front drums back)It was the only one I could find. It does not have power brakes. I pulled the booster brackets from 76( dont know what exact model. I think a F-250) ... If I purchase a booster and master for a 76 could I just add them to what I have(the parts from the F-150) or do I have to change something? Do I use the P Valve from the non power brake F-150?
Thanks
Dustin Robertson

Re: Brakes upgrade Ouestions ! HELP !!!!
the only thing that makes the brakes power is the booster. so if you get the boster for a 76 that should be fine. the provalve i am not sure if it matters. i would use the power one if i had it. but im not sure it makes a difference. the real differecne is that you use the pro valve and not the old dist block on your truck now.
