Disk conversion help

ok i need some advice on this, i have previous posted a thread asking about how to do this and have the thread for the drum to disk conversion printed out. My question is what size wrench/ ratchet do i need to have to take the radius arm nuts off to take the radius arms off of the frame, off the donor truck that i have found.

i forget right now. but i dont have that socket. so i use a 12 inch cresent wrench. it takes longer but it works good.

by any chance do you know what the size of the wrench would be b/c i was test fitting some wrenches and i dont have one that is big enough to go around the nut so instead of buy a bunch of wrenches i was hoping that someone knew the size

the largest wrench i have is a 1 1/4. i have never tried to use it on them. it is not a 1 1/8 i know that.

if you can wait until tomorrow i can get you the exact size. i just did this, but i can't remember what it was. it was big though. .

ok. i went outside in the dark in my pj's because i'm a dork. i couldn't get a socket on the nut because of the cotter key, but i put a crescent wrench on and measured the gap. it was an inch and an eigth. this seems right from what i can remember, but it's not rock solid info.

1 1/8 is the only wrench I have that fits it it feels a little loose and the othe wrenchs I have close to that size don't fit. 1 1/8 is what I used

then it might be 1 1/16th.

i just went out and checked my wrenches. i have two 1 1/8 end wrenches. one of them fits and works and the other one doesn't. plus they are box end wrenches. so thats why a cresent wrench is my wrench of choice when removing these nuts.

I recall that huge nut was tough to budge. My airgun just shook and did nothing. I had a few very large 1/2 impact deep wells, can't recall the size. But, I had to put a breaker bar on one and use a 4 pound hammer and a 8 inch air impact extension to break them loose and then I was able to just unbolt w/regular 1/2 ratchet. Those are some seriously tight nuts.

yeah guys thanks for the input. the correct size is the 1 and 1/16 size wrench. i took what yall told me and started fitting my different size socket and the 1 and 1/16 is the one that worked. i appreciate all the help that everyone on this site has given.
