Power Steering Pump Pulley

Post by walkercreekbronco »

I ruined my power steering pump pulley trying to remove it. I'd been more careful if I'd known how hard they are to find. My truck is a1979 F-150, but it has a FE engine in it. I found an aftermarket pulley for a 351M or 400, will it fit the older pump for my FE engine?

it should fit. as well as the pump too. its just a pump. its all in how it bolts up and lines up with the other pulleys.

i bent my harmonic balancer with a regular pulley and not a great deal torque...i went to autozone and did the buy/return tool loan thing they have there and got the right pulley and it came right off....170.00 to rebuild it, but i got lucky and found one on ebay for 50.00.... :oops!:
