im still on the fence about which way to go here.. rubber bushing held up for 42 years ive been researching the poly ones and see that they carry more road noise and bumps or vibrations.

I want a nice smooth ride on my 67 when i do the disk brake swamp and i was planning to do both the front and rear bushings if time allows .

would greatly appreciate some info both ways on this subject if at all possible.
And are these things i could order at my local parts store??

Go for the polyuerethane bushings. They are a stiffer material but it will improve the handling of your truck. You can get them at any parts store. From my experience Autozone usually has the best price. Honestly, I put them on my truck on the last rebuild and I could not even tell a difference in the comfort. If you had a 2009 Lexus then ya, maybe worry about comfort but hey, if you were about comfortable rides you probably wouldn't own a '67 Ford :lol: Trust me, go for performance on this one! :thup:

yea all the bushings on my truck are getting dry and weather split. Maybe will feel a lot better to drive after i get this all done

It all depends on the desired result. If you're looking for a factory-type ride, then go with the rubber bushings. If you're after a firmer suspension with performance in mind, then go with the polygraphite.

What I'd suggest doing (and is what I'm doing with my own) is to go with the polygraphite on the suspension, and retaining the rubber bushings for the body mounts.

i figured on leaving the body mounts rubber and from what im reading here probally go with the polygraphite for all the suspension.

I just dont want the truck to ride my silveradeo where i can feel every single bump and its feels like im driving a empty trailer.

My 67 rides smoother and i feel less bumps i know i may lose a bit of that but i dont want to lose all of it .... i think im confused lol
