Re: bumps with lowerd altitude!! (pics please)
I've been away for a while (work and school) so I haven't been on top of this thread but I stayed up late last night and got all hot and bothered reading every word and studying every picture! Now, more than ever, I MUST get busy and install my DJM's that have been sitting on my garage floor for 6 months now!!! These rides are sooo cool I can't hardly stand it! I'm talking about both the rides from magazines and ebay as well as your guys' rides!
td, there's something about that green hood that I like. I've been a fan of the patina'd look ever since it's been on the scene. I love the look of 'paint and body work by mother nature' and the mismatched body panel colors and faded paint. The red looks fantastic and I'd have a hard time painting it. But, I seem to remember you saying you may stick with a satin red??? I sometimes wonder if I should have painted mine. I could always go after it again with a DA sander!
blackpearl, I've mentioned your truck before too. I like your comment about it being the same paint that Henry put on!
marz, that's one sick truck! I can't wait to see what you do next! The cruising pics are way cool!
customcrew, ezer, and the rest...nice rides!
I knew I always wanted a dropped bump but now it's absolutely mandatory!!!
These trucks have such attitude!
Until I get to work on mine, I may have to photoshop this picture as it looks 4WD with a lift kit in comparison! Yes, we have paved roads here in Idaho!

Thanks! Been real busy with work and school but I'm back hopefully for a long time! I don't want to get off topic but where's this silver F1? Somebody PM me if you can find FAST otherwise, I'm sure I'll come across it eventually!427blackpearl wrote:good to see ya f-100builder, been wondering where ya been?

BTW...I'm sure many have seen this one but I really like it cuz it's a low crew. The paint job isn't quite 'me' mainly because of the two-tone grille but it's still

Re: bumps with lowerd altitude!! (pics please)
Thats a pretty sweet crew, it would look better without the fade paint job though.

Re: bumps with lowerd altitude!! (pics please)
i like both colors but they didnt really pull it off with the fade. i think a more gradual fade may have worked. then again the standard 2 tone is proven
