control arm set up ?

Post by neverdone »

found a few 73-up rado's and c10s....got a good price on clean front frame rails/crossmember/upper and lower arms,etc....

i'm bagging my 67 f100 2wd, could i graft the frame rails/front suspension into the f100 rails before the cab mounts?? ...the chevy front half rails are straight then they dip a few inches...i dont think my f100 rails dip as much.....and i forgot to measure the width in the chevy rails..lol

The frames are the same width, so it's actually a very easy job.

Here's a link to a former forum moderators project truck photo gallery, where he did exactly what you're asking about.

That's cool. I might consider that if I don't find the crown vic stuff. Never knew that cobra's truck was on chevy front end. Thanks to ketih and neverdone for a new idea!
