These projects tend to get stuck from time to time.

Yes sir! That's probably one of the reasons why fixed up Bumpsides are rarely seen on the road (compared to new/other cars/trucks). Especially not F350s.

Yes the bottom of the springs are a slightly smaller diameter than the cup. As I said, I just cranked 'em down tight.
