proportioning valve ?

Post by M-100 »

I am putting power brakes on.I am having trouble finding a truck with all the parts on it .So i am peicing it together.I found a proportioning valve on a 75 without power brakes . I think it should work with the power setup , but i am not sure. Does anyone know for sure ?

As long as it came from a truck with disc brakes, you'll be fine. The proportioning valve is the same for power and manual disc brakes....but it has to have disc brakes. A manual-brake distribution block will not work.
