I know what its like I did all the work by myself too when I did a cab and bed swap. My brother was the guy who helped me for 10 minutes setting the cab on Looks really good I wish I could find a 302 4spd 4x4 frame to swap my body on.ford4x4fun wrote:Thanks for the compliments guys! I did a frame swap about a month before I deployed, in my buddies backyard and in the wet cold rain. I had a good 4x4 Frame with a 390, and than that truck was running a 302, that despite it's low milage was very week from spending years sitting. The rust was so bad on the other truck that all the wiring was gone. So on my weekends and spare time I did the swap by myself, except for the help I got here, and 10 minutes of man help putting the new cab on.
It's easier to turn around backing out than it is backing in.ford4x4fun wrote: You should have backed it in, kinda looks like you put her nose in the corner Bad truck for wanting to rust in the winter
Great family photo, love the barn too.ford4x4fun wrote:My favorite so far even though it is on the 2wd Frame in this one!
Thank you very much.ford4x4fun wrote:Rubiranch your truck amazes me with every picture I see of it. It sure is one nice looking rig esepecially with that camper in tow to boot.
You picked the right spot for sure.ford4x4fun wrote:The barn we built it after A tornado took out our other one and the back of our house back in late 93 or maybe spring 94 I chose that spot for the barn wanted it in the picture. And gave it that nice rustic look that I was going for.
