Fascinating truck, very nice!
I have 3 questions. What year is it exactly? Where did that grille come from? and can we see some pics of the interior? It looks like some nice interior, I really like those inner door panels! Very cool truck!
Thanks!ZEOGA,
Sweeet! i to would love to see interior pics.
Fireguywtc, its a 1979 (Brasilian). The grill, its a very common model here. We have 2 diferent grills here, this one on my truck, and this one:
This last model, its a oldest model, a hard to find in good shape, and wen you find it, its expensive and used (don't have new grills of this model for sale), like 4 to 8 times the price of the first one (this one you can buy a new one, on the store), so I end up to buying the chepest, common, and new model...But I'm workin on to get one of the original model for me...
Well, I don't have a good pic of the interior, but, I have this one:
Those inner door panels are very common here, it's like 15 dollars each...
And, one more thing, at the exaust, I put some valvules/throtles berfore the mufflers, so wen I want to get noise, I open the exaust valvules from the inside of the truck, using a cable, and the engine (a 292 cid Y-block) start to scream...

Re: favorite picture of your truck or trucks
Ryan, that is simply the finest photo of a Bumpside truck I've ever seen (the mud splash photo). Do you happen to have a full resolution version of that that I could have for my desktop background? I promise not to redistribute it.
Thanks Ryan!

Re: favorite picture of your truck or trucks
thanks guys , it was reaaaallly fun
if you want to see more pics and info, check out my project thread.
Robroy,
i resized the pictures when i first posted them so they wouldn't look the best for a desktop backround, but then i remembered i still had the pictures on the camera so i just re-uploaded a couple of the pictures i regret resizing and they are now fullsize again
go ahead and resize them smaller if you want
or if you have photoshop you can change contrast, i really dont care what you do with these pictures.
without as much contrast..

Cool video! Your truck sounds great! I bet there are a lot of people here that would love to have a set of those door panels.ZOEGA wrote:

Re: favorite picture of your truck or trucks
Thank you Ryan! Beautiful. My favorite is the lower contrast one since I like seeing the truck's grille in detail. If you keep getting shots like that you could put together a Bumpside calendar for 2009 and make some extra cash for your project!1971ford wrote: Robroy,

Re: favorite picture of your truck or trucks
I'd buy two. Go for it Ryan! Don't ever think that if there were fun and profit in it, then somebody would already be doing it. There is a world of difference between having an idea and following through on it with a finished, salable product. And since these are your original, unique photos, there's no such thing as competition.FordTruck wrote:I would buy a bumpside calender if you made one.
