I dont know much about spacing.... and apperantly neither does this guy... SO do you think they would fit on a 5x5.5?
my car is a 5x115... but these arent
and the spacing is off by a finger nail...

115mm = 4.527" Which is the newer bolt pattern for the cars like mustanges that used to be 4.5" or 114.3mm back in the day... I'm guessing that is what he has though are the 114.3 as that would be about the thinkness of a finger nail off = .027"
At any rate they aren't even close for your truck at 5.5" bolt pattern = 139.7mm :o

Well I bought them... 18" Chrome rims with brand new 245/40/18 Rubber on them.

Definitly going to need adapters, but for $500 CDN (about $400 USD) I cant go wrong!!!

The adapters will also act as spacers, so I can fix the narrow rear end look at the same time.

Worst case scenario I just sell them again...

That is a ripp'n deal!

Using adaptors doesn't bother me at all, if it is for a truck that is not going to haul much of a load anymore. :2cents:

Your offset from front to rear will still be the same using the adaptors unless the wheels have a different backspacing front to rear that you got...

Anyway, still a good deal as that is about the price for 2 wheels by themselves.

Yeah totally smoking deal...

I am not following you about the offset part though...

The front and rear wheels are exactly the same.. what I meant by fixing the stance, is using 1" thick adapters for the front and 2" thick adapters for the rear

Hey no problem, yeah the truck wont be used to haul anything anyways...

I lied about the tire size.. they are 225/40/18... brand new though...

Another question, what is the max width I can get on a 7.5" rim? I am hoping to get a 275/40 on the back...might be pushing it though...
