Re: Using GIMP to change your trucks color
I don't have a color in. I wanted to see it lower.

Re: Using GIMP to change your trucks color
I must be dumb or something because I can't get it to out line my truck all I get are black and white line that are all over the place and kinda look like there flashing. I don't know what I'm doing wrong Also I should add I'm not very good with computers.stangconv wrote:Tutorial is up!!! Any questions feel free to ask!!

Post your picture up... Also you could use the freehand selection tool and just go around the outside of your truck.FordTruck wrote:I must be dumb or something because I can't get it to out line my truck all I get are black and white line that are all over the place and kinda look like there flashing. Re: Using GIMP to change your trucks color
Here's try # 2. I changed to blue and tinted the windows.
I'd like to see it lowered so it looks like 3" front 4 " rear. That is a bit much for me to tackle though. I don't have the patience to do it. Anyone have any idea what this truck would look like lowered that much, 69 ranger grille, that color blue, those wheels, gray and black interior, and the side trim removed? I'd love to know, because that is my plans for it some day.

Re: Using GIMP to change your trucks color
i couldnt change the grill because that would be really hard, and i dont know exactly how much is a 3"/4" lower so i did my best to guess.
i wish i could keep the backround but i would need a picture of the exact same area just without the truck.

Re: Using GIMP to change your trucks color
To lower the truck and keep the background... select the top half of the background too.. so when you lower it in brings the background down too... it squishes it a little but you barely even notice...
check out some of the pics I lowered.

im not much of a bodyman either
you have to kinda squint and tilt your head and scoot back 10 feet and shake your head while barely peeking at the picture for it to look good
