1250# rear springs????
My 71 I just bought sits up pretty high in the rear. I was looking at the original invoice and an "extra " that was added was 1250 rear springs . Are they like an overload spring or totally different springs? I don't know if I like it sitting so much higher in the back...

Well o.k. , looks like it has flexomatic springs . I don't mind a truck sitting up high as long as it is level , maybe I will raise it in the front

You could order the truck with heavier suspension to carry a bigger load... Check out this ford brochure that the main site has. http://www.fordification.com/lit/images ... re_p16.jpg it shows the option and the heavier tires to go with it, plus the payload difference...
It will make the truck sit higher in the back some...

Re: 1250# rear springs????
Thanks for the response . I found the original brochure with my paperwork I got with the truck. I actually took time to read it and found the info about the springs , the same one you linked for me. Thanks again! Yeah and it also came with a heavy duty radiator and bumper option also. Oh and we can't forget the fancy am radio option
