Ride hight
Im thinking for a lil bit of a she looks great 4 inches from how she sits now in the front. I need to know what is the height from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender so i know what springs to get. I have after market wheels so idk if i can just go from the ground.

yogi_pahl,
it will be hard to get 4'' from springs alone, you could get 11/2'' or mabe 2'' but anything more than that and you'll have camber issues you won't be able to correct with a i-beam suspension. you will have to invest in some drop i-beams such as DJM'S or Aims industries.you'll get 2 1/2'' true drop from them and then you could use a drop spring or trim your stock coils a little and get the drop your looking for. Good luck!! i'd be happy to give any advice on the subject you may need.
here's a pic of my DJM'S.

re: Ride hight
TD I have heard that the lowering beams cause these trucks to have alignment issues. Did you have any trouble?

re: Ride hight
joshpow,
i would imagine what your hearing is due to the fact that the only caber adjustment on these trucks is done by actually bending the stock i-beams, and the aftermarket beam cannot be bent. when i got mine together the first time it was with the stock springs at stock length. the camber looked (with the naked eye) to be a little positive. well i already knew i wanted the truck to sit lower so i cut 1/2 round out. then the camber (to the eye) looked spot on, but the truck still didn't have the stance i wanted it to. so i trimmed another 1/2 out of the coils and it sits perfect for my taste but it looks to have just a tiny bit of negative camber now. so to sum things up i think to the average custom trucker its worth mabe losing a few miles on a set of tires to have your ride exactly like you want it to be. atleast it is to me.

re: Ride hight
Thanks for the info td. I never knew what the problem was, but that's probably it. Say the 1 coil on the front lowered 2 inches?

re: Ride hight
That's great. I've been trying to find out for a while now. I remember someone on that subject before, but I couldn't remember how much they said. Thanks.
