re: saging spring fix??
It's not too pricey to re-arc a set of springs. However, re-arching only lasts so long by itself. I had a set re-arched for an old International a few years back and the guy that did it also added a leaf for support and it was pretty reasonable and is still holding it's own.

re: saging spring fix??
Just out of curiosity, did you also measure the front? It's been my experience that often it's the front springs that will sag first. When one front spring sags, it'll raise the opposite rear a little (e.g. when the left/front spring sags, the right/rear raises up). In fact, there were enough complaining customers that Ford even issued a Technical Service Bulletin article on this issue, and dictated that the ailing front spring be shimmed (up to two shims). The shims look like this (pictures provided by a forum member):

re: saging spring fix??
yes Keith i did measure the front, the right side (pass) was about 1/4'' lower but i thought it was probably because the right rear was measuring 11/4 lower than the left rear
i see your point on the lower front corner bringing up the opposite rear corner. do you think the front right being 1/4'' lower than the left front would make the rear left 11/4'' higher than the right rear?? when i reread this post its almost confusing
but i think you'll understand it Keith.
