I've been on countless forms read a ton of threads and have yet to see anything along these lines. I have a 1966 F-100 with a 1976 Buick 455 motor that a previous owner put into it. (Yeah, it took a few hours to figure out the motor as I grew up working on 65/66 Mustangs) I've got drums all around and have run into a few things that stump me.
1 - Wheel cylinders: Rear no problems, but the front cylinders took about 5 trips to various parts stores with the old cylinder before I found a match. It took finding a knowledgeable chap at a local Napa to end that saga. The part numbers for the cylinders that I've ended up starting to install are Napa 36057 and 36058 on the box and 18292/18293 stamped on the cylinder itself. These appear to be for a 91-93 Dodge D250/350. 9Just found that while writing this post)
The cylinders I pulled off the truck had a short 3/8 thread with a standard flare, while most replacements from shops had long/deep thread with a non-standard flare (unsure of the actual name). The the old cylinders have a lip inside for the standard flare to match up to while most replacements I was shown were deep thread with no lip inside. Which are correct? Do BrakeBest part numbers WC41718/WC41719 sound more like the correct replacement cylinder numbers for your typical 66 F-100?
2 - Brake Shoe Width: From what I have read, the shoes are supposed to be 11x2. The shoes I have removed from the front are a full 3" wide. 2" replacements won't work because they won't even touch the backing plate. Based on what I just found out about the wheel cylinders I think that I'd have to go with Napa part AE-358R to replace what I've got now.
3- Drum: My passenger drum has a stamp of max diameter 11.090 with these numbers as well, 3H11 and 212093-C 180 degrees opposite of each other, and WF 180 degrees opposite of the 11.090. Does this ring a bell or seem wrong?
4 - Backing Plate: My backing plates are FoMoCo and I see a part number 321394L on the drivers side. I can't see a number on passenger side. Is this a correct part number for this truck?
It looks like I have early 90's rear dodge brake components on the front of the truck. I feel like I'm working on franken-truck. What insight can anyone provide to the above? Thanks.

re: 66 f100 front brake woes
P.O.'s....ya GOTTA love 'em.
3" shoes were on some of the chrysler products, as well the rear of some 3/4 & 1 ton fords. The wheel cylinders might fit a dodge, but if you can get your Napa guy to let you look thru a brake parts illustratred catalog, or a buyers guide, you might find the cyl's fit a number if things.
IIRC, Napa brake parts are BPI (raybestos) Most of the base part #s are the came, prefix changes.
If i were you, i'd develop a good relationship with your napa guy
At this point, cataolgs & buyers guide's are your friends

re: 66 f100 front brake woes
If I had plans to keep the truck I'd do the front disk upgrade, but I don't think I'll have it for too long.
Since some 68/69's have 3" shoes I'll take my old one's into the parts store to see what they can match up. In fact, it looks like the Napa & Autozone part number online for a 69 F-100 matches up to the part number stamped on my shoes "265." Thanks for the responses!
