converting to 5x4.5

Post by flatblack »

Well, after i pulled out the distributor and the oil pump driveshaft came with it on my 82 F100 with a 351W, i decided to use as much as i can and put it on my 67. it has the 5x4.5 bolt patter which means a lot more tire and rim selection being that mustangs have the same bolt pattern. so my question is what can i use from the 82 that i can use on the 67?? can i use the front i-beams? the whole differential assembly or do i have to take out all the guts and put them in the 67 casing? what about power brakes and power steering??

:? prob not. if you want 4.5 on 5 you could have a machine shop drill them and out and put in new studs. in back order axles that have that bolt pattern or have them drilled too. then i would just use mustang rotors on the back.
