Rear disc brake conversion
Hey, I have a buddy who has a '79 Lincoln Mark 5 with the Ford 9" and disc brakes. Does anyone know if that is compatible with the 68???

Bolt pattern is different. it is a coil rear (IIRC) Not a DIRECT swap.
It isn't that bad to do, depending on your plan. The Wheel mounting surface (WMS) distances are not too far off IIRC, but you would want to cut all the crap off the lincoln housing as it is a better housing than your stock 68 9".
hth,
eric
