Rear spring bucket removal
I am trying to remove the spring bucket so i can lower the rear. I got the rivets grinded off flush but can't seem to break the bucket free from the frame. I used a BFH and tried some heat with no luck any thing else a guy could try? Rusted together?

You might try taking the BFH and a big screwdriver, and hitting the backside of the rivets. Sometimes, the heat from grinding can kinda spot weld the rivet to the frame. Maybe try having someone hit the bucket while you do it.

Ahh... rust welds. Gotta love 'em. Had to replace a set on the '77 due to severe rust in the wrong areas. Used a chisel and sledge to separate from the frame.
