bouncing up and down

Post by SteveC »

OK as im driving to work for the first time in the bump to day every bump i hit felt like i was bouncing on a trampoline...are my shocks shot? or is this just normal bump behavior. my guess would be the shocks..but i wasnt even alive when the bumps or dents were being made.

THank you for the help

i was cleaning out leaves tonight out of the vent holes from the cowl and thought that it would be a "brilliant idea" to jump up on the bump and see just how bad the shocks bounce.....WELL it didnt bounce much if fact hardly at all its like my shocks are stiffer than a 2x4 with just a little more give  and im glad it was parked close to my work bench other wise i would have feel flat on my behind
Guess i know what im replacing this Friday.Add that to adding the spare gas tank and rebleeding the brakes
