Donor Interchange

Post by jwh f-100 »

Will the front end components needed to upgrade a f-100 to power disc brakes and power steering interchange from a f-350??? I would not have a problem with the 8-lug wheels, I would change the rear also if this would work. I would also not have a problem with changing I-beams, radius arms or whatever else may be needed. I'm looking at a f-350 and if nothing else it would be a ideal donor with the power disc brakes, power steering, automatic, and good running engine.

Thanks
Jason

The possible donor that I'm looking at is a crew with a 8ft bed and I have building a reg cab shortbed on my mind. I already have the swb truck to use the frame and springs from. I am thinking if this would work, a swb truck sprung as a f-100, power disc/drum 350 brakes, added sway bars, power steering, FE powered, and automatic would be a nice ride that in theory would stop on a dime.
