Oops

Post by OldRedFord »

Ok so in the process of removing the drivers side axle beam and radius arm, I broke off the lower grease fitting. Can I replace just the fitting? Or the fitting and the part it screws into...what ever thats calld. Ive looked around online and all I can find is a entire king pin set, I dont need all that.

if you can get the old zirt out the parts store have replacemnet zirts you can buy to replace your old ones with. if you can't get on it with tools like wrenches or vise grips you can drill it out and clean the threads up to put a new zirt in.

The piece that the zert screws into is just a screw-in cap with a threaded hole for the zerk. Just remove that cap and install another from a parts truck.
