Sharp corners are my worst nightmare

Post by BRUTUS_T_HOG »

i have a 69 f250 4x4 and i can't hardly maneuver it around a corner or in a parking lot, i know 4x4's don't turn as sharp but this seems extreme. how far can i adjust the steering stops?

Not much farther. It will tear the wiper seals on the ball side of the knuckles. You will also risk snapping a u-joint on the axle shaft if throttled hard in a turn.

They take up alot of turning space, that is the way they are.

Can't be as bad as a 68 F350 Crew Cab with a 165.5" wheel base. Brings new meaning to "turns like a battleship".
