No way man...a truck for a case of beer!

Basketcase
Well, I should have mentioned that it was case of GOOD beer (Sam Adams or Henry Weinhards, I think?). And, he shared the beer with me, too (what are brothers for?).

Welcome from another Idahoan! What little town in the mountains are you from? Let's see some pics of that truck when you get a chance!

My folks and wife live in the Salmon area. I'm setting up a photo gallery for the pics, should have it in a few days.

Crazy. The funny thing is that I've never been to Salmon and I was born and raised in Ontario, OR (right on the Idaho/Oregon border). I really haven't seen much of Idaho but I've lived in and been all over Oregon. I've heard it's real pretty up in Salmon.

Well, I can't say I'm a "native".....I actually grew up in Wyoming. But my dad used to prospect along the Middle Fork of the Salmon River back in the late 1950's (before he and my mom even met), and now that they live there full time, most of my other siblings have moved up there too. I truly love and miss it!

Yeah, you'd love it. There's a whole lifetimes' worth of ghost towns, 4x4 trails, fishing, hunting, hot springs, backpacking etc. And the VIEWS of the mountains! Truly God's country! Take a drive through Stanley sometime too, the Sawtooths are incredible.
