That's a Ross F-250 4x4 box. Used from 67 through 77.5.

probly woudnt work for a P/S conversion then cause the column and box are off the same truck

It's a manual box, it would be pretty hard to use that for power steering anyway you slice it.

4x4's are completely different from 2wd's. Nothing in the steering and front suspension is even close to interchangeable.

The 4x4 boxes are the same manual or power steering. F-250 4x4 power steering used a seperate hydraulic ram and valve assembly. He explains all that in the Q&A at the bottom of the ad.

Dustin, where is this control valve for the 4x4 PS, is it mounted on the pitman arm like the cars were done? (Power assist)

Yep, the highboy control valve is the drag link that goes from the pitman to the steering arm on the knuckle.
