Would the front axle and all from a 2wd 90-94 F150 bolt up in a 72 2wd F100?

i think i read here someplace that it could be done. but there were reasons why it was better off not to do it. i dont remeber where i read it or got that idea though. maybe it had somethiing to do with alignment. or fitment of the beam length.

Im pretty sure the problem is that the steering linkage id on the front of beams instead of the back like on our trucks!!! I could be wrong but i think thats part of it!!!

The I-Beams are a different configuration they have a bend in them and the older trucks are straighter.

The later beams are also different lengths.One is longer than the other.
