steering column question

hey would this column work to make mine shorter if i swap it out? its from a 73-79 but was in a 72 F250. dont really wanna cut and weld mine i have now

That should work, but your shifter would have to be on the floor.
If I recall right, you have an auto w/manual steering.
and you are wanting to convert to PS.
If you didn't want to install a floor shifter you'be be better off just finding a stock PS/Auto column.
I thought you had a black one or something ???

i have manual three on the floor with manual would like power steering but what i reall need is a shorter column either way cause its right in my chest more or less.

black what truck? i have a black 79 f250 and a primer red 72 f100
