Are you just adding a power booster to your existing manual brake setup? Then it's super-easy. Just disconnect the booster pushrod from the brake pedal, remove the nuts holding the booster to the master cylinder and then remove the bolts holding the booster to the firewall. Without disconnecting the brake lines, gently pull the master cylinder away from the firewall, just enough to slide the booster out. Installation is just the opposite. Since you don't disconnect the brake lines, you don't have to even worry about bleeding the system out. When you add a booster to a truck that doesn't have one, you'll have to remove the pushrod from the back of the master cylinder....it's not needed, since everything you need will be on the booster...it's held on by a clip, as seen in the last of these three shots:

The booster has about a 3/8" vacuum hose that connects to the intake manifold right behind the carburator...Or maybe it is at the back of the carb plate...There's probably some kind of plug in there right now if you don't have power brakes...
While we're on the subject, has anybody ever rebuilt a brake booster?....The one I got from the junkyard doesn't hold vacuum....Or is that something you take to a rebuild shop?
This is the point...I'm....talking about everybody! I'm talking about form! I'm talking about content! I'm talking about interrelationships! I'm talking about God, the devil, hell, heaven!!!! Do you understand???? Finally!!!!
I think you'd end up paying more to have one rebuilt than to just buy a replacement. It's definitely not something you can do at home.
