What master cylinder and booster combo can I use???

Post by mrtleavitt »

In my disc brake conversion I'm wondering what master cylinder and booster I can use. I have '69 F100 and using '75 F150 front end. I currently have power drum brakes. Will my '72 booster bolt up with a '75 master cylinder? Or will that cause problems? Or can I even use my '72 booster and '72 ms?

I'm just trying to do all my homework so I won't have any delays when I go for the swap. I know I have to use the proportioning valve. If I use the '75 ms and '75 booster, do I need to use the bracket that comes from the '75 F150 or can I mount it with the '72 booster bracket to the firewall?

your booster will work fine you just need the disc drum master cylinder from the 75. the brackets are the same from 67-77.5
