re: Hello from Missouri
The name on the side of the bed is the previous owners and location. All the old timers used to get there info painted on the farm truck. This particular truck belonged to my cousins grandpa, Loy. My grandpa had a beautiful 69 ranger painted a maroon/white with his name, etc on the side.

Nice workplace you have there. I can't wait to get a roof over my truck.

Re: re: Hello from Missouri
hey foggy, up until sometime in the early seventies all pickups in missouri; even privately owned trucks, had to have the owners name, city of registration, and gvrw on the sides somewhere.foghorn wrote:Welcome from Okla. Looks like a business name on the bedside. What was the name on it? If ya had the cab and bed off IMO i would have at least refinished the bottom side. This way at least it would be better protected from the elements. It would also be one less thing to do later on down the road. This is what i plan on doing to mine.
