Hello from Missouri
Just thought I should introduce myself, my name is Josh. I found this site a few months ago by chance and I've been hooked ever since. I look forward to learning a lot on here and maybe even helping out once in a while. I am attempting to attach pictures of my 68 4x4 conversion.
Thanks

Why yes it is, I went through the whole chassis/drivetrain before setting the body on so it would be mechanically sound. I don't plan to do much to the body, kind going for that rusty old beater look. I had to put cab mounds on it, and I filled the rusty spots in the drip rail with seam sealer. maybe I'll tackle body work in a few years, when the kids are old enough to sand!!

Josh,
You're in for a lot of fun with that look, (when you pull up to the iroc's and blow them away)!

re: Hello from Missouri
Welcome from Okla. Looks like a business name on the bedside. What was the name on it? If ya had the cab and bed off IMO i would have at least refinished the bottom side. This way at least it would be better protected from the elements. It would also be one less thing to do later on down the road. This is what i plan on doing to mine.
