Hello everyone!

Post by Luvlnd_67 »

I am new to the forum. I own a '67 F100 Ranger 2WD LWB. I have owned the truck for nearly 29 years. The truck is Lunar Green/Wimbeldon White and has a 352 V8 & AT. The truck and I have grown up together, my dad bought it as my first vehicle to drive. Early on I went through a hot rod phase, dropped in a built 390 & a C6 (with 3600rpm stall converter). Was that fun to drive! After several years I sold the 390 & C6 and the truck sat for a few years. I decided to put everything original back in the truck & had it repainted. I drove it that way for several years. The last 7 or 8 years the truck has been stored in my garage. Yes, neglected. About a month ago I got to thinking about getting the old girl back on the road. So, I have been cleaning/repairing things. I got it running last weekend. It was like getting together with a long lost friend. I look forward to spending time in this forum, it is really great.

Welcome aboard glad to have you. How neat it would be to still have your first car. Of course mine was a 70's Ford fairmont with four doors a yellow body and a maroon top. Well in my case maybe I am glad I don't have my first car.
