Manual vs P/S coupling
Does anyone know if the steering box splines are the same on a 68 manual box vs a saginaw power box??

Hey convincor,
Which splines are you refering to?
The steering column attaches to the steering box with bolts.
Are you wanting to convert from manual to power steering ?
If so, there is a real good tech page on making that change.

Yes, converting, have seen the tech artical. New box didn't come with the coupling on the box side.
Just havn't had a chance to pull it apart to see if it's the same as manual.

I heard from the guy I got it from. The only difference is the power has flats on the shaft.

Yup, they are the same.I just put 1 from a Saginaw p/s box on my 67 with manual.
