About to swap out my front end and the axle pivot bushings are shot. Does it matter which side the lip on the bushing is facing? rear of truck or front?
I could look at my old front end or the service manual but they are both on the other side of town from the shop that is pressing the bushings in.
Thanks

re: Axle pivot bushings
Personally, I really don't think it makes a difference. However, on mine I decided to err on the side of caution and had them installed the same way they came out...with the bushing flange towards the front of the truck.
