Hey thanks for all the welcomes! As far as washing the truck before the pic, that was actually the previous owners pic from Ebay. Haven't had a chance to take any for myself yet. And I just hafta say this site has helped me already. I was looking for shifter bushings for 3 speed, and couldnt find them in any parts books. I saw a post on here saying they were still available from Ford, and the part #. I saw that it said without the part # they would just brush you off, so I tested them. I told them I had a 70 F-100 Sport Custom with a 3 spd on the column and was looking for shifter bushings. They told me they had no way of looking that up, and gave me the name of another Ford dealer that they said could look it up for me. Then I told him I had the part #. He looked it up for me, said it was a "good number", but tried to tell me I would only get 1 bushing and nothing else. He told me Ford doesnt generally package parts as "kits". So to humor him I called the other Ford dealer. Turns out they are out of business. So I did some online research, and called back and said just order it. If it's only one I will hafta order another one after that one comes in. Well, it came in the very next day. It contains 2 bushings, and 2 metal inserts just like I told him. Cost me $15.18 plus tax. I was just amazed it was still available through Ford. So, thanks to the folks that were involved in those discussions on here for the advise and the part #. I couldn't have got them without ya!
