Grrrrrrr..still working on this pwr disk conversion...help

What pulls the back brake pad away from the disk when the brakes are released?
Thanks

pressure, or vacuum, however you say it. since the system is sealed when you release the brake pedel the fluid and also the pistons should all suck back up.
does your brake pedal return to the top after you take your foot off? did you install new brake hoses?
if the calipers have been sitting and were dry they could be rusted and causing a bind.
these are just ideas off the top of my head.

I cleaned, cleaned, and cleaned my junkyard parts to make them move freely. You can take the pistons out of the calipers and clean all that up too. I used compressed air but put something in front of the piston cause it will shoot across your shop, at A VERY HIGH RATE OF SPEED. I speak from experience.

A bunch of rags will stop the piston. Also keep your fingers clear.

They are all new parts. Actually after getting everything together, the tires spin free.

If the tires spin free with the brake off then it's working correctly.

You probably have worn king pins or weak springs. Mine is the same way. I thought the king pins were good but it took a day or so of driving to get everything loosened up.

Jack up one side and see if you can wiggle the tire, top and bottom, in and out. If so, it's the king pins.

are you talking about from in front the tires point at each other , or from the top. "Toe in" or realy band camber.

i mean do the lean in or do they point towards each other with the steering wheel straight?
toe in.
/\

l l
camber would be leaning in on the frame at the top of the tire and sometimes the bottom.
