re: How do you install a rear window?
Wes must have dislexia. try puitting the gasket on the glass take your finger and run the rope in the groove for the pinchweld. Get a helper and set the window in the opening bottom first. Your rope should start and end in the middle at the bottom. I like to use a lil gojo to slick the rubber up some this also cleans off real easy. Have your helper just hold the glass in place with lite pressure. Take one end of the rope and pull the rubber over the lip till you get about half way up the side. Then take the other end and do the same but go just past the top corner. Also at the corners pull the rope in a circcular motion so as not to cut the rubber. Once you get the other end just past the top corner go back to the other end and work it past the top corner also. At this point i like to pull both ends at the same time as some times it has a tendency to slide in the rubber. Once you have the rope all the way out take the palm of your hand and pat it the rest of the way in sometimes they dont get seated in fully till you do this. If you have any rubber that looks like it still could come in more try taking your fingers and putting themon top of the rubber next to the glass and pull down and in all in one motion. Kinda like getting a finger hold on a climbing wall. I hope this helps you If you have any questions just pm me your number as i have nation local calling and can explain better on the phone.
