wider and taller rear tires

Post by import600 »

I'm considering running slightly wider and larger tires in the rear, 8in wide in front and 10 in wide in the rear. Then 1-2 inches taller in the rear. Has anyone run this before? I wanted to see some pictures of it.

thanks

That's exactly what I'm running, see here:

This is a Camper Special so it already had some rake to it.

I've done the same. 33x12.5R16.5s in the rear.

On Friday I just put these 31X10.50s on all the way around. I really like the look, and the way it handles now.

Those 10.50's don't rub at full turn?

They don't rub at all, and now it rides more like a truck!!!!

Must be the off set of those rims. I have a 29in. tall tire (don't remember the size exactly) on the stock rims and they rub at full lock.
