I am wanting to go to 16" rims on the '72, it has front discs.
I found these and the price is great:

nice looking wheels...
1/2 ton or 3/4 ton? you should be able to call any tire shop and they can give you the bolt pattern measurements for your truck.
good luck

It is for the F250 I know I need 8 lug 6.5" but I want to make sure a 16" rim will fit over the disc brakes.

re: Will these fit my disc brakes?
I just this afternoon tried to fit a 16" steel wheel over the HD disc brakes I have for my bump ( 77 d44 hd axle) the wheel rubs on the caliper. I have 16.5 steel and alloy both fit no problem. I am considering 17" or maybe 18" wheels for the bump.

Thats what I am afraid of, unfortunately the same wheel in 17's is almost twice as much. But I run 17's on my '97 and '51 so I'd have plenty of take offs available for it. My 2 rear tires are really weather checked and forming a nice crack where the sidewall meets the tread, kind of makes me think twice about going very fast down the road. I may just stick with the 16.5's and buy new tires for them.
